  1. Make :

    Car's Manufacturing Year refers to the year in which car was produced. Please don't get confused by car's registration/purchase year.

    For example, a Nov-2005 manufactured car can be registered in Jan-2006. In this case, car's manufacturing year would be Nov-2005, not Jan-2006.

  2. Also known as car manufacturer or company. It's the company who have manufactured this car.

    Examples are Maruti, Tata, Chevrolet, Hyundai etc

  3. A car is known by it's model. It's name of the car.

    Examples are City, 800, Zen, Ikon, Santro etc

  4. Normally, a car model comes in many versions. These versions describe the features provided in the car. Version is also referred as Variant or Trim.

    For example, Maruti 800 comes in Standard and AC versions.

  5. This terminology describes how much a car has driven so far. Kms driven can be noted from car's speedo-meter.

    In India, a car is driven approx 5,000-20,000 kms a year. So, if a car is 3 years old, its typical mileage would be 15,000-60,000 kms range. It can vary slightly.
